1. Chief Resident Engineer (Civil) 

Position: Chief Resident Engineer (Civil) 
Qualification: Graduate in Civil Engineering with Post Graduate Degree/PhD in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Construction Management. 
Experience Required: Minimum 15 years of experience in concrete dam and tunnel construction projects, including at least 5 years in a similar leadership role. (LinkedIn) 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead and supervise all civil construction activities related to dam, tunnel, spillway, powerhouse, and allied structures. 

• Review and approve construction drawings, method statements, and technical submissions. 

• Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications and standards. 

• Coordinate with client, contractors, consultants, and government authorities. 

• Monitor project progress, construction schedules, and resource deployment. 

• Resolve technical issues related to civil and structural works. 

• Prepare progress reports, review meetings, and project documentation. 

• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project timelines. 

• Guide site engineers and multidisciplinary teams for smooth project execution. 

Required Skills: 

• Strong knowledge of dam engineering, tunnel works, RCC construction, and project management. 

• Leadership, communication, and coordination abilities. 

• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts, QA/QC procedures, and construction safety practices. 

• Proficiency in project monitoring and reporting tools.
