Job Summary:
The Construction Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from conception to completion. The role involves ensuring that designs, specifications, budgets, and schedules are followed, while maintaining compliance with safety standards and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:

Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.

Supervise on-site activities to ensure adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.

Coordinate between architects, contractors, clients, and suppliers.

Technical Oversight:
-
Review and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and project specifications.
-
Conduct site inspections and ensure work quality aligns with engineering standards.

Assist in preparing engineering calculations and design adjustments as needed.

Budget & Cost Control:

Prepare and manage project budgets and cost estimates.

Monitor expenditures and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.

Approve materials and equipment procurement in alignment with project needs.

Safety & Compliance:

Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and legal regulations.

Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.

Ensure all permits, licenses, and environmental regulations are up to date.

Reporting & Documentation:

Prepare daily progress reports, quality control documentation, and project status updates.

Maintain accurate records of construction phases, inspections, and change orders.

Present progress reports to management and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field.

Master’s degree or PMP certification (preferred).

Experience:

2–5 years of experience in construction project management, site supervision, or structural engineering.

Technical Skills:
-
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro, MS Project, and other construction software.

Strong understanding of building codes, safety standards, and engineering principles.
