Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline (Mandatory).
- Master's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) or equivalent in Transportation Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Transport Planning, Logistics, Urban Planning, or a related field (Preferred).
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of overall professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in traffic studies for transport infrastructure projects.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Ports, Inland Water Transport (IWT), Maritime, Waterways, or Multimodal Transport projects.
- Experience in traffic demand assessment, transport planning, traffic forecasting, and feasibility studies is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct traffic and transport studies for Ports, IWT, and other transport infrastructure projects.
- Carry out traffic surveys, origin-destination studies, demand forecasting, and capacity analysis.
- Prepare traffic projections, feasibility reports, and technical documentation.
- Assess cargo and passenger movement patterns and future traffic demand.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and government agencies for data collection and project planning.
- Support DPR preparation and provide traffic planning inputs for infrastructure development.
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of traffic engineering, transport planning, and traffic forecasting techniques.
- Experience in transport modelling and traffic analysis tools.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, GIS, and traffic modelling software will be an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Experience in Ports and Inland Water Transport (IWT) projects will be highly preferred.
